We envision a world where no one has to suffer needlessly with corneal disease.

BostonSight is a world renowned 501(c)(3) nonprofit eye health care organization founded in 1992. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for patients and their families by transforming the understanding, treatment and care of complex corneal disease.

Our Center of Excellence in Needham, MA, employs a staff of 40 and includes a world-class Medical Institute staffed with cornea specialists, ophthalmologists, specialty-trained optometrists, and clinical technicians. A state-of-the-art BostonSight PROSE Manufacturing Lab, a Clinical Research Center, and a Patient and Community Support Center are also on site.

We enjoy educational partnerships with the renowned Massachusetts Eye and Ear, the New England College of Optometry, and the MCPHS University School of Optometry. Each year, Cornea Fellows and Optometry Residents are educated in the latest treatments and join our medical staff in cutting-edge clinical research.

Compassionate care is at the heart of our approach to patients and their families. We strive to make the entire experience as supportive and healing as possible.

"BFS took a couple very particular problems and developed an awesome AND down-to-earth approach to work/deal/treat said problems. This solution/strategy can actually be done in one’s own home, with minimal doctor interventions / appointments needed. I found that the staff at BFS is very willing to work WITH the patient from the intake / acceptance process, and on from there. They believe in the COMPLETE team approach, and are also 'family' - with you, the patient, being a valued member of this family. I have seen, firsthand, that they are willing and ready to share this with competent healthcare professionals in other states and countries."  ~BFS patient
