Varsha Rathi, M.D.

Varsha Rathi, M.D. completed her under and post graduate work at Nagpur University, followed by a fellowship in cornea and anterior segment at LVPEI in 1994. She worked with the cornea and refractive surgery services of Shri Ganapati Netralaya, Jalna. She completed the BostonSight® PROSE Clinical Fellowship. Dr. Rathi joined LVPEI in 2006, and her areas of interest are excimer laser surgery including LASIK and PRK and PTK and contact lenses, and she is coordinator for the Institute’s acclaimed Indian Contact Lens Education Programme (ICLEP).

Dumpati Srikanth, BOpt

Dumpati Srikanth earned a Diploma in Ophthalmic Techniques (DOT) from FOREC in 2002, followed by a one-year fellowship in Clinical Optometry in 2003 from LVPEI, Hyderabad. He completed his Bachelor’s in Optometry in Bharatiya Vidhyapeeth University, Pune, in 2006. He is a Fellow of the International Association of Contact Lens Educators (FIACLE) and a representative of the educational committee of the Indian Optometric Association. He worked at GKB Opticals Private Ltd for two years before joining as Assistant Optometrist in the Cornea and Contact Lens Services at L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. His areas of interest are BostonSight® PROSE treatment and speciality fitting of RGP contact lenses.
