Ways of Giving
Shop at Amazon.com
Support BFS when you shop at Amazon. Visit smile.amazon.com and type Boston Foundation for Sight into the “pick your own charitable organization” search box, and shop away! Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases to BFS.
By making a gift of appreciated securities, you may avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation value. If your financial services provider holds securities in your account, you can have them electronically transferred. Please call us at (781) 726-7512 and we will provide you with transfer instructions.
Memorial and Tribute Gifts
Remember a loved one, express gratitude to a caregiver, or celebrate a special occasion. We will notify the family or individuals being honored of your thoughtful generosity.
Recurring giving is a convenient way to support BostonSight with a larger annual gift by making smaller installments. We will help you set up your gift so that a specified amount is automatically charged to your credit card on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis.

Make a lasting difference by naming BostonSight as a beneficiary in your estate plan. You may designate BostonSight as the beneficiary of a percentage of your estate or a set dollar amount. The Annual Fund provides the resources necessary to expand our patient-centered care in Needham, advance cutting-edge technology and funds the expansion of the BostonSight Network, making treatment more accessible to patients throughout the United States.
Visionary Circle of Hope
Join the Visionary Circle of Hope by making a gift of $1,000 or more within the calendar year. With your gift, you become a member of a select group of individuals whose philanthropy has a significant impact on our mission: to improve the quality of life for patients and their families by increasing the understanding and treatment of complex corneal disease.
This fund provides financial assistance to patients and their families seeking treatment at our Needham facility. Assistance helps defray costs for:
- Patient care not covered by insurance
- Travel and lodging expenses
- Device replacement
- Food and other supplies
- Patient/family lounge improvements and amenities
Patient Networking and Outreach Fund
This fund will help BostonSight support critical outreach and engagement activities including our thriving social media presence, educational videos, peer support networks and patient education events to raise awareness and emotional support. Your generosity will help our patients continue to stay connected once they return home.
