Alan Kwok, OD, FAAO

Dr. Kwok received his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Waterloo. After several years of practice he completed a primary care residency with an ocular disease focus. He later became an Assistant professor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry and chief of service of the cornea and contact lens clinic at the New England Eye Institute. 

Dr. Kwok joined the team at BostonSight in 2007 as part of the medical staff, bringing the experience of over 15 years of practice in varied clinical settings. He describes the work here as challenging and satisfying. He appreciates the culture of an organization that is team oriented and patient centered, the ultimate goal of which is doing what is best for the patient.

In 2014, Dr. Kwok passed the American Board of Optometry Certification Examination and earned the title “diplomate”.
