Chirag Patel, OD, FAAO
Chirag Patel, OD, FAAO, joined the clinical staff of BostonSight in February 2014. Dr. Patel earned his Doctor of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in 2011, where he was a Dean's List student. He holds two Bachelor of Science degrees - one in Biology from Creighton University, and one in Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University.
Prior to coming to BostonSight, Dr. Patel completed a post-doctoral fellowship in cornea and contact lens at the University of Houston College of Optometry. During his fellowship, Dr. Patel specialized in complex contact lens design and routinely managed patients with a wide variety of corneal conditions. In addition, he was involved in clinical research as an investigator for the Texas Eye Research and Technology center. Dr. Patel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is a member of numerous professional groups, including the American Optometric Association.
