Gloria Chiu, OD, FAAO

BostonSight® PROSE Clinical Fellow
Dr. Gloria Chiu received both her Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cell Biology and her Doctor of Optometry at the University of California, Berkeley. She then pursued a post-graduate residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at the Southern California College of Optometry. In 2009, she completed a BostonSight PROSE Clinical Fellowship.
Dr. Chiu is currently the Chief Optometrist at the PROSE Clinic at the USC Roski Eye Institute in Los Angeles, and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the University of Southern California. Her clinical interests include contact lens fittings for patients with ocular surface disease and irregular corneas. Her research interests include ocular pathology in contact sport athletes and corneal health associated with contact lens wear.
In 2009, Dr. Chiu received the George W. Mertz Contact Lens Residency Award from the American Optometric Foundation. Dr. Chiu is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
