Eugene (Gene) A. Bonte

In the first 40 years of his career, Eugene (Gene) A. Bonte used his experience in marketing, strategic planning, operations, and finance to build for-profit companies that created jobs and wealth for employees and investors. He joined BostonSight because of the unique opportunity to make profound changes in people’s lives. Gene served as President and CEO of BostonSight from 2011 to 2016.

Prior to BostonSight, Gene served as COO of KnowledgeRules, a boutique consulting firm focused on implementing projects utilizing Pegasystems technology. KnowledgeRules was acquired by Accenture in 2010 and formed the basis of a $200 million Pegasystems practice. Before that, he was Vice President of Market, Strategy, and Delivery at Pegasystems Inc. in Cambridge, MA. During his tenure, the company completed a successful IPO and grew 345% from 1995 to 1999. Gene was also a founder of Object Design, Inc., which went public in 1996. In 1994, Inc. Magazine recognized Object Design as the fastest-growing privately held company in the United States.

Following his retirement as CEO, Gene has remained on the BostonSight Board of Directors where he serves on the nominating committee and an advocate to make BostonSight’s knowledge, innovation, and expertise more accessible worldwide.

Gene holds a BA in Political Economics from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
