BostonSight SCLERAL Account Representative

The Account Representative position has the primary responsibility of supporting the day-to-day activities of BostonSight SCLERAL customer accounts. This includes lead generation, onboarding new customer accounts, resolving customer inquiries, assisting with billing and accounts receivables, and supporting customer logistics with internal and partner organizations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, a collaborative spirit, an ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This is a newly created position, and the right candidate will have the opportunity to grow and evolve the position along with the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to eye care offices in a timely, respectful, and compassionate manner to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operate as the lead contact for customer service billing and invoicing inquiries.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams, collaborating with finance, manufacturing, and shipping.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Conduct online research to identify potential accounts to support lead generation.
  • Utilize email templates and CRM software functions to engage new leads.
  • Set up new customer accounts, including coordination with other internal departments regarding shipping start-up materials, setting up agreements, etc.
  • Educate customers on FitConnect administrative capabilities and help accounts to achieve successful outcomes that lead to higher usage and increased sales.
  • Assist the Finance department with monthly invoice preparation, payment collections, and processing returns.
  • Manage and maintain customer records throughout different software platforms and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s level degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or a relevant field preferred
  2.  1-2 years of progressively responsible experience

An equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
